US citizens live in a country where the rich use the media outlets they own (film, tv, radio, the msm in general) to subtly and sometimes not-so-subtly tout the virtues of the economic system used here and convince the 99% that “Things are great, citizen!” even though that very system makes the rich richer while the poor keep getting poorer.
