The argument here seems to be that by calling it
“peaceful protests”, you are implying their violence
is unacceptable and should be hidden.
They want their violence to be seen as no less acceptable
than peaceful protesting.
In other words, calling their violence ‘peaceful’
causes their violence to seem less legitimate,
according to them.
Additionally, this puts Joe Biden in a pickle, as
he is now saying the opposite of what they want.
