Did anyone else notice yesterday on CNN’s broadcast of the White House coronavirus press conference that the third speaker after Dr. Pence was cut off as he was explaining how long it would take to release a vaccine?
To be clear, I went back and listened to the full statement where he says it will be 1 to 1.5 years before we will have a vaccine
I know it’s not new news, but it came as more of a shock that they cut him off mid sentence as if to deliberately stifle the announcement.
He also stated that their testing process is no where near conclusive of determining if patients in fact have the Coronavirus
By the way, this is Dr. Anthony Fauci, the national director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
I know CNN had to get over to their town halls broadcasts and not cause a public panic, but come on.
Tl;dr – Vaccine confirmed 1 to 1.5 years away.
