Sondland was pressured by Rep. Sean Maloney, D-N.Y into saying that “I assume president Trump would,” in response to Maloney’s question; “Who would benefit from an investigation of the Bidens?”
As I see it, this would only be true if the Bidens were proved to be guilty.
If the Bidens were proved to be innocent then surely it would be the Bidens who would benefit?
Did Amb. Gordon Sondland assume that the Bidens were guilty by assuming that President Trump would benefit from any investigation into the Bidens?
