Following the Orwellian so-called “March for our lives” on Sunday, where some two hundred thousand weirdos and useful idiots rallied against one of our most fundamental rights, the right to own and to bear arms that is, House and Senate Democrats realized that gun control laws are a lost cause with most Americans, hence they’ve decided to attack the problem from a different angle. Proving their gun prowess or the lack thereof, Democrats seem to believe that since guns can’t be used effectively as weapons without bullets (except from heavy guns which can be used to hit people regardless):
banning bullets, or making them hard to acquire sans a proper permit would do the trick. No, this is not a joke, but the latest bill pushed by Democrats in both houses of Congress, a piece of legislation that would require background checks and all sorts of Caudine Forks/jumping through hoops or whatever you want to call it for purchasing bullets. As per Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s (who by the way is the former Chairwoman of the DNC) immortal words of wisdom, you don’t have the right to bear bullets. You see what they did here?
The bill introduced by Debbie in the House and by Richard Blumenthal in the Senate is dubbed the Ammunition Background Check Act and it would force a thorough background check on anyone looking to buy ammo, a background check which is very similar to the one already in place for (legal) gun purchases.
Without background checks on ammunition sales, there’s nothing to stop dangerous people – barred from buying guns – from amassing vast ammunition arsenals. This ludicrous loophole puts lives at risk.

So dixit Debbie:
“I really think it’s important to underscore that without bullets a gun is just a hunk of useless metal, and a would-be killer lacks the means to actually kill or maim.”
Deeper and truer words have never been spoken (just kidding), which reminds me of another funny scene from one of my favorite movies. Debbie called Americans’ ability to buy bullets to be a loophole in gun control laws, which are all unconstitutional by the way as they infringe on the 2nd Amendment, but that never stopped a leftist from doing whatever he believes it to be for the greater good of the greater number and similar marxist palaver. Thirty-six DEMs sponsored the Ammunition Background Check Act, and just imagine what would happen if the Democrats gain control of the Legislature following a potential Blue sweep in November…
So, let’s ignore the logic of “If I’m buying ammunition it’s because I already own the firearm; and if I already own the firearm I already passed a background check” and see this for what it is: an end run around the 2nd amendment; Leftists are seeing this as well: “okay you can have the firearms but you can’t use them without ammunition”. This will be hugely successful as clearly gun control laws have worked so well due to failed enforcement and there has never been such a thing as a black market for illegal firearms. /s
As long as there are no real consequences, these people will never go away. When removed from office, they continue to work silently in the background as an underground shadow government. The left will do away with our Constitutional rights by chipping away slowly. This bullet-control bill will be just the first step in a long walk of trampling on our fundamental rights. They will move on then to gun registration, and that will be the fall.
