DOJ is asking the courts to make Facebook compromise its encryption, which could put us all in danger

The DOJ is asking Facebook for a backdoor to its encrypted communication. We all need to stand in opposition to this, and tell the DOJ to back down.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is trying to force Facebook to break its encryption so they can wiretap voice calls on Messenger. But Facebook has yet to cooperate, since this would weaken security for its users and expose their personal information to bad actors and government spies.

Now the DOJ is asking the courts to make Facebook compromise its encryption, which could put us all in danger. When the FBI tried to make Apple weaken security measures that keep us all safe, Internet users rose up and made the FBI back down. We need to do this all over again.
