Having lived in China for 6 years, I have been following closely all the evolution of technology there and have been using it when the credit system was just at Beta on AliPay. I was even considered a perfect citizen just by buying Chinese products.
I recall asking my colleagues about that fact and they all told me that this would never work in China. Seems they were wrong. I will definitely talk to them again and see what is their reactions now.
