“Life, Liberty & Levin” host Mark Levin joined Jesse Watters on “Watters World” to discuss how President Barack Obama was apparently unaware of the “unmasking” of Trump officials under surveillance.
The two Philadelphia natives agreed that several Obama-era officials, like former FBI Director Jim Comey, counter-intel chief Peter Strzok and former Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) had their “fingerprints all over” the endeavor to spy on or investigate Trump campaign officials.
Levin, who worked in the Justice Department under President Ronald Reagan, said he would prefer that his longtime friend Attorney General Jeff Sessions appoint a second special counsel to look into the matter.
He said that while Special Counsel Robert Mueller is investigating to find “excuses for why [his probe] exists”, there may be actual wrongdoing in the case of Obama officials investigating Trump’s team.
