The following side effects have been reported by at least 1% of people taking this medication. Many of these side effects can be managed, and some may go away on their own over time.
abdominal pain
chills
cough
decreased activity, tiredness, or weakness
decreased appetite
feeling unwell
fever
headache
irritability
muscle aches
runny or stuffy nose
sore throat
LAIV is not recommended for people with some kinds of chronic health conditions because the safety and effectiveness of this vaccine in people with those conditions has not been established.
