Is the Yellow Vests Movement Actually Voicing the Root Problems of Society?

Today on the Janssen Report: yellow vests a short-lived violent whim of small scattered groups or a structural upheaval of revolutionary proportions? Although the final judgement on the impact of this ‘movement’ can only be done after the fact, it seems fair to say that there’s a growing sense of injustice about the way society is organized.

After Nuit Debout this is the second major upheaval starting in France in recent times. Unfortunately the major media do not seem to be doing the movement justice.

Again, smaller alternative media are reporting from amidst the protestors to learn about their true motivation to take to the streets. I recognize a profound expression of the deeply rooted problems in the architecture of society, which facilitates an ongoing wealth shift from the general (working class) public to the 1%.
