This is a brilliant short summary to the problem by RamzPaul. Even though Infowars did not play identity politics and distanced themselves from the Alt-Right, they were shut down because they supported Trump on a well-known platform. This means absolutely anyone to the right of them could be shut down as well very easily. Either we win this fight or we lose free speech entirely forever.
This is another brilliant short summary of the problem by James Allsup. The free market is not the answer, because the Left can shut down Free Speech by shutting down all payment processing, hosting services, etc. The banning of Infowars within 12 hours by multiple platforms was not an example of the “free market”.
