Taxi driver commits suicide on City Hall steps thanks to UBER

Cabbies angry over the suicides of three drivers in the last two months heckled City Council members with oversight of their struggling industry Monday, with one demanding they “stop robbing us!”

Schifter’s fellow cabbies jeered Taxi and Limousine Commission Commissioner Meera Joshi when she discussed fines and enforcement.
