The CIA armed ISIS “rebels” in Syria in an attempt to get rid of the legitimate Assad government of Syria. No less than Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard says as much and sponsored a bill to put an end to the USA arming terrorists, which we’ve done many times in the past, including arming the Contra “rebels” in Nicaragua in the 1980s.
Syria has been Russia’s friend and ally for decades, but the CIA wants to illegally control Syria and its resources including oil, so the CIA armed ISIS and called them “rebels.”
Remember in the 1970s and ’80s, the CIA also armed Mujahideen religious extremists / terrorists in Afghanistan to try to remove the Soviet-friendly Afghanistan government from power. Usama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda were a big part of the Mujahideen terrorists that the CIA armed.
