It’ sad to be honest. I get the impression that a lot of black families raise their children to believe that the color of their skin will be the number one thing holding them back in life. Holding them back in school, holding them back in the work place, and holding them back during interactions with the police. This is something that is not taught in other minority groups. The fact of the matter is, no culture can succeed with this type of mentality.
