Curious Timing? Secret Service Intercepts Possible Bombs Sent to Clintons, Obamas
A recent “explosive device” was allegedly detonated near the home of George Soros, and now reports are coming in about “possible bombs” being sent to the Clintons and the Obamas.
To me, this seems like a curious way to carry out an actual attack, as surely the perpetrators aren’t expecting Soros or Obama themselves to be opening their own mail at one of their many residences.
If these attacks are genuine, it makes more sense to view them as threats than actual physical attacks on these individuals.
If these attacks aren’t genuine, one would have to begin speculating about the motivation for eliciting sympathy for these individuals, especially in the current political climate right before an election.
If I wanted to portray one side as unhinged and violent, I would stage an event precisely like this.
That being said, there are violent extremists across the political spectrum, and it’s still quite possible that a violent right-winger is responsible.
