What fate awaits Julian Assange?

by independenttrader

Julian Assange, co-founder of the WikiLeaks has been arrested by the British Police, in early april. Over the last 7 years, Assange has been staying in the British embassy of Ecuador, but the government recently refused to further help him. Now the Australian journalist will probably be deported to the U.S., which has been demanding his extradition for a long time.

The theme is very important, so let’s recall what exactly the WikiLeaks is. This is a website that allows anonymous publications of documents regarding government and corporation activities. The website is often used by people who want to disclose illegal activities – especially committed by politicians.

It can be clearly seen that WikiLeaks is an invaluable source of information for people who value freedom. In case of the people in charge it is different – for them it can become a serious threat that can contribute or generate exposure of their lies and crimes.

WikiLeaks made significant mark in 2010, when hundreds of thousands of documents related to the war in Iraq and Afghanistan were uploaded on the portal. In this way, Assange, as a co-author of WikiLeaks, got exposed to many people in Washington. At the same time, the founder of WikiLeaks began to be accused of a rape. In 2012, Assange did not appear in the Swedish court, so British police tried to arrest him, but the journalist found refuge in Ecuadorian embassy.

IMF as a secret U.S. weapon

Assange judicial process in Sweden is of course a fairy tale invented for the society. No one but people from Washington has the urge to judge the founder of WikiLeaks. Therefore, as soon as Assange hid in the Ecuadorian embassy, the U.S. made all the effort to get him. And it finally worked. Thus, what made the Ecuadorian government to change its mind?

We do not have any evidence in this matter. We can only draw your attention to the fact that since the beginning of the current President Moreno’s term, Ecuador has changed its narrative in reference to Assange’s protection. In turn, the International Monetary Fund decided in March to grant Ecuador a 4.2 bln dollars loan. It has to be emphasized that, earlier Ecuador stayed away from the IMF for 10 years.

When we put it all together, it is not surprising that previous President Rafael Correa accused Moreno of corruption. In addition, the supporters of the former president started to protest on the streets against current authorities actions.

Ironically, 11 years ago, WikiLeaks has published a document showing how the U.S. and its financial allies uses IMF to conduct wars and achieve its own goals. Numbers 2-45 describe, among others, building alliances based on appropriate financial incentives (i.e., loans from which it is difficult to get away).

As you can see, the U.S. is currently using their Bretton Woods system which has been created in 1944.

Assange’s arrest and brainwashing

Now let’s recall the April events. The WikiLeaks founder arrest was presented as if he was the most dangerous terrorist in the world. Some time later, mainstream media around the world begun to show, among others, that Assange did not maintain cleanliness in his apartment. Real nonsense, typical mush for the masses.

Meanwhile, to look at the situation objectively, you need to know the facts. And these were clearly presented by American journalist Tucker Carlson. According to his words, the biggest Julian Assange’s crime is that he has exposed the deception created by most of the people in Washington

Assange has never stolen US government documents.

He did not hack the Democratic Party’s servers.

He did not hack John Podesta email account, who was the Head of the Hillary Clinton campaign at that time(WikiLeaks showed the scale of its mendacity).

There is also no evidence that Assange works or has ever worked for the Russian government (and yet he was called a Russian agent).

If anyone would like to insist that Assange has exposed the U.S. to the danger, let us remind you that the U.S. Army documents have been published by Bradley Manning (now Chelsea Manning) – U.S. army soldier. For his actions he was sentenced to 35 years in prison. Earlier, he was tortured to the extent (such as keeping in a narrow cell, playing loud heavy metal music) that he decided to change his gender.

In 2014, President Barrack Obama softened the sentence from 35 to 7 years counting from his arrest date, thanks to which Manning came out from the prison in 2017.

Whoever cares about the U.S. security should be furious at Obama. However, such people can not be seen. Otherwise, people are told that Assange is a problem.

Looking at the case rationally, you can say that Assange:

– revealed to the public what the government (chosen by citizens and spending the citizens’ money) is actually doing,

– exposed the setup in primary election in the Democratic Party, when Hillary Clinton was favored,

– he proved deception of the politicians, but also journalists,

– revealed the shocking crimes committed by the U.S. during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Behavior of “journalists”

After Assange arrest, we did not have to wait too long for the mainstream media journalists’ to prepare the theater which have been paid by their sponsors. Immediately we witnessed attempts to discredit Assange as the journalist.

What is the definition of journalism? We got to know one few days ago, in our opinion it is not bad.

“Journalism is publishing what someone else does not want to publish. All the rest is public relations.”

Now look at this riffraff.

Is it a journalism or public relations?

Once we have determined that Assange is a journalist, and on TV we mainly see PR people, let’s have a closer look on what accusations WikiLeaks founder can expect from the Department of Justice.

And here we can see that Assange wanted Manning to provide more data.

Is it not what the real journalists do? They strive to ensure that their source could provide as much information as possible while ensuring full anonymity. This is the part of journalism.

What’s next with Assange?

When asked about the case, President Donald Trump responsed that he had “never heard of WikiLeaks”. This is of course, the lie because even some of Trump’s tweets on Twitter were based on information from WikiLeaks.

The question is: what is the real Trump’s strategy regarding Assange’s case? We can see two solutions. First: there is no strategy. In this case, everything happens in a way outside of the Trump’s influence and is part of specific people’s revenge against the founder of WikiLeaks. There will be a demonstration process, and the sentence will scare all who would ever like to act like Assange. If this happens, it will be one of the worst days of Donald Trump’s presidency and he will lose a lot of supporters.

The second solution: Trump will use the additional information held by Assange to discredit the Democratic Party in the election year. There will be a lawsuit in which the punishment turns out to be symbolic (or it will be severe, but will be quickly relaxed). At the same time, Trump will gain an ally that has millions of supporters around the world. The U.S. president will secure the reputation as a defender of the freedom of speech. Believe, that in some parts of the U.S., tha means a lot.

In our opinion, the second scenario is very likely.

Summary

1. Julian Assange is not a criminal, but a hero. Convicting him for life imprisonment will mean that free journalism does not exist in the U.S..

2. The Ecuadorian embassy circumstances shows us how the U.S. is still using the infrastructure it has created (the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund) to achieve its own goals.

3. It can not be ruled out that Donald Trump will play everything in such a way to save Assange. The founder of WikiLeaks has extensive knowledge about, for example, the scams that occurred during the primary election in the Democratic Party in 2016. We also mean documents that have not been published yet. Trump can use them for his own purposes.

4. The mainstream journalists help in the conviction of Assange. In this way they protect the mafia which is ruling in the U.S..

5. In comparison to the mainstream media, WikiLeaks has never released a fake news.

6. It can not be said that the information provided by WikiLeaks led to someone’s death. Whereas the U.S. government cooperation with the military complex (described in WikiLeaks) led to death sof many defenceless people.

7. A popular way to discredit someone is the accusation of russian contacts and collaboration. Note that, this was true for both Donald Trump and Julian Assange. In both cases, no single proof was found, and yet proper brainwashing deceives the society. That is why we often stress the journalists role.

” As long as Julian Assange is in prison, we are all in prison. When the government has the power to tell us what we we allowed to see, hear, and know, we no longer live in a free society.” Ron Paul, a member of the U.S. Congress for 8 terms
