Facebook is participating in actual foreign election meddling. No Russians required.
Facebook is coordinating with the war profiteering neocon Atlantic Council in their decisions in who and what to censor. The Atlantic Council’s funding involves contributions from many defense contractors, oil and energy companies, and nation states.
Facebook’s major investors include many of the same major investors as defense contractors. Facebook is blurring the line between a private independent company and an extension for the State Department.
This is not the first time Facebook has directly abused their authority in communications with the intent on suppressing political conversation and election outcomes.
