Why Chinese Weapons Are Losing Their Appeal In The Global Market Despite Beijing’s Tall Claims


Despite tall claims, Chinese arms and weapons seem to be losing its edge in global arms export market. According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), China is the fourth biggest exporter of arms. SIPRI data shows that China was exporting arms worth $3 to $4 billion a year earlier, but that figure is now declining.
