The following four items are steps you can take right now to prepare your immune system for battle against covid-19.
Washing your hands and taking precautions such as N95s etc are obvious, but there are other steps you can do right now to prepare your body’s immune system to fight this virus off.
1) PROPER SLEEP! (No I am dead serious, this is the number one immune system booster far superior to anything else you can do for yourself)
Humans over the centuries have been programmed to the circadian rhythm which means we start to get tired as the light turns to dark. Up until around 100 years ago, people were still following this programmed cycle. However, 100 years ago, about 50% of the homes in the US started to have a new technological marvel readily available. Electricity.
However with the advent of electricity also came new light sources at night. This started to decay the circadian rhythm in humans. Fast forward to today, and it has run out of control. Ipads, TV, Smart Phones, Computers, lights in the home have all completely screwed up the human circadian rhythm. People are now getting on average 5-6 hours of sleep a night.
This is DESTROYING your immune system. Sleep occurs in two main phases. The first phase, which occurs in early sleep just after bedtime, is called SWS or Slow Wave Sleep. It is during this initial period of sleep that our bodies produce Growth Hormone which directly relates to the secretion of IL-12 IL-12 is what your immune system relies on to battle infections.
Well, the use of electronics and the destruction of the circadian rhythm removes the SWS portion of the sleep completely. No SWS results in compromised immunity. Period.
You MUST start turning off the electronics around 9-10pm in order for your body to re-regulate its circadian rhythm and get the SWS sleep your body needs in order to properly regulate your immune system.

2) Increase Autophagy via Intermittent Fasting
Autophagy, or cell eating, is a condition where your body cleans up unfolded or damaged proteins and cleans up microbes that shouldn’t be there. It breaks these items up into amino acids that become building blocks for your body. When you are sick you tend to naturally lose your appetite. This is true in both humans and animals. It is an evolutionary mechanism to fight infections and for survival.
Intermittent fasting is a way to introduce Autophagy or in our case Xenophagy (targetting pathogens during autophagy). Intermittent fasting is fasting for 18 hours and leaving a six-hour window where you eat normally. This will cause your body to go into autophagy. Fasting was a widely used practice in biblical times for “clearing one’s demons”, or in our case, clearing out disease.

3) The Keto Diet
The Keto Diet and Intermittent fasting normally go hand in hand. Many people who are on the Keto diet also practice intermittent fasting as well.
On the Keto diet, you will convert your body from running on glucose to ketones. Virii thrive in a glucose-rich environment. Starve the virus out by not providing it with exactly what it needs to function properly; Sugar. Combining Ketosis with intermittent fasting is a one-two punch to diseases.

4) Herbal Antiviral supplements.
There are many natural antimicrobial supplements you can begin to take now to help build your immune system.
