Kerry said the agriculture sector “needs innovation now more than ever. We’re facing record malnutrition, at a time when agriculture more than any other sector is suffering from the impacts of the climate crisis.” In 2021, Kerry cautioned, hair nearly afire, that the residents of earth had only “nine years left” to avert the worst disasters of climate change. this was roundly mocked as alarmism, though AOC had said only three years prior that the “world will end in 12 years” if climate alarmists’ warnings weren’t heeded.
Reductions in fertilizer, land use, and cows are a big push by the activists who seek to reduce emissions created by food production. One idea that has been put forth to reduce methane emissions caused by cows is to shift to eating bugs, instead. Another idea is to feed cows bugs to reduce fertilizer emissions generated by growing food for cows.
