Our Young People Are Losing Their Freedom Of Expression – Their Education – As Politics Take Over Public Schools.

How far will this overbearing political movement within our public schools dare to go?  I see our young people losing their freedom of expression, as they are judged for their every minute action.
A  child may kiss his classmate, point a finger, or do what this youngster did to impress his middle school peers on social media.  We hear the stories every day – overblown accusations by school officials – seeking every opportunity to use our youth to attack the Second Amendment.
Thus, far this attack is the worst I have seen.  This middle school student was suspended for “liking” an airsoft gun on Instagram.  It is an outrageous and manipulative action taken by a school system to attack the Second Amendment by using the ramblings of a teen on social media.  This is a trend, and it is interfering with the education of our youth.
Responsibly trained educators should have the ability to decipher between an authentic threat and an innocent child-like expression.  I mean you are talking about “liking” a post on social media!  When “likes” on social media become the ground basis for school suspension, we have truly lost control of our own adult senses.
Cincinnati News, FOX19-WXIX TV

An Edgewood Middle School student was handed a 10-day suspension for “liking” a picture of a “gun” on Instagram with the caption “ready.”
The parents of Zachary Bowlin posted a picture of the intended suspension notice which read, “The reason for the intended suspension is as follows: Liking a post on social media that indicated potential school violence.”
“I was livid, I mean, I’m sitting here thinking ‘you just suspended him for ten days for liking a picture of a gun on a social media site,” father Marty Bowlin said. “He never shared, he never commented, he never made a threatening post… anything on the site, just liked it.”
Zachary said this:  “I liked it, scrolling down Instagram at night about 7, 8 o’clock I liked it,” Zachary said. “The next morning they called me down [to the office] patted me down and checked me for weapons.”
The comment from the school was:  “Yesterday evening school officials were made aware to an alleged threat of a student bringing a gun to school. We act on any potential threat to student safety swiftly and with the utmost importance. This morning, the alleged threat was addressed and we can assure you that all students at Edgewood Middle School are safe and school will continue as normal. Thank you”

Short and sweet, huh?  Maybe to the school officials, but not to Zachary or his parents.  They “patted him down…”  I wonder how that must have felt to young Zachary…how far did they take that pat down?  We will never know the manner in which they treated him, as the power was all within their hands to do whatever they pleased.
Trust?  All you have to do is to go to social media and see for yourself if Zachary is telling the truth.  Of course, he told the truth…it could not be disputed.  There is hard evidence in Zachary’s favor.  Is their a lawsuit here?  I would say so, but could Zachary and his parents ever win?  I doubt it.  Where is the power in this story?  The power is not with Zachary or his parents.  He was suspended for absolutely nothing.  However, the power lies in the politically correct school system, and they will be praised for their stance.  This stance is a “hidden” attack on the Second Amendment at the expense of a child’s education.  Evil?  Oh, yeah, and it is not going to stop.  Warn your kids, because at this point, that is the only protection they have.
Zachary?  Now he has a “reputation.”  How far will that follow him in his education?  You can bet it will go down on his record, regardless of his innocence.

  1. Why in the world do people put their children in these indoctrination centers? The same reason they vaccinate them. Both should be considered child abuse…
