Starting in 2024 Australia will produce up to 100 million vaccine doses a year. That is 4 doses per person every year.
People claim that they are following the science but what the science tell us is that:
This virus will likely never go away regardless of the number of people that wear masks, vaccinate or lockdown. Since the virus is always changing and vaccines don’t provide sterilizing immunity, there will always be the need for the next booster since the old ones will no longer be matched to the circulating variant.
In my opinion the whole discussion about the “optimal” number of boosters is a distraction to make people believe the end of the mass vaccination program is near and if they just take another dose the virus will be defeated. Once people get used to getting their shots twice a year, they will come out and tell people they need to take these shots forever.
Australia is building large mRNA factories that will be completed in 2024 and will be able to produce 100 million vaccine doses a year. That is 4 doses per person each year.
If they had come out in 2020 and told people that they need to take two doses a year forever people would have rejected it.
Instead we have seen a slow progression from flatten the curve for 2 weeks to save grandma, to just take booster number 3 or you won’t have a job to you need several shots a year forever. A gradual introduction is more tolerable for the normies and once they get used to it they will defend it.(sunk cost fallacy)
