Remember when over 100 FBI agents threatened to resign to force Comey to reopen Clinton probe? Comey is an operative of the left.

Newsmax.com reports:
FBI Director James Comey reopened the agency’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails last week because “almost 100” agents threatened to resign before next week’s election, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay told Newsmax TV.
“A few weeks ago, almost 100 agents were threatening Comey that they were going to resign — and that kind of pressure is what turned him around,” DeLay, 69, the majority leader from 2003 to 2005, said on Tuesday’s “The Steve Malzberg Show.” “It wasn’t Comey or his integrity.

“I know he made a huge mistake when he indicted Clinton — though not indicting her — but now he’s trying to turn that around.
“He had to do it now or have all these FBI agents resign,” he added. “That would have probably been a bigger story than what Comey did.
“He got the pressure. He got the notice.
“He understood as far as his own job and being able to go forward in his own job and his reputation,” DeLay said.
“If 100 FBI agents resigned before the election, he would have been toast.”

This was not Comey’s first rodeo in letting a Clinton off
NYT reports:

Federal prosecutors said yesterday that no criminal wrongdoing was committed when President Bill Clinton commuted the sentences of four swindlers from a Hasidic enclave in New York State that voted overwhelmingly for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

James B. Comey, the United States attorney for the Southern District of New York, said in a two-sentence statement that he had closed his investigation of clemency granted to the four men from New Square, N.Y.

Mr. Comey said he would continue the investigation into the more than 170 other pardons and clemencies Mr. Clinton granted on his last day of office, including the one that has drawn the most ire: a pardon for the financier Marc Rich, a commodities trader who fled the country in 1983.

The New Square case also drew attention because of its mix of the Clintons, New York ethnic politics and suggestions of vote-trading.

The four men, convicted of bilking the state and federal government of tens of millions of dollars, were prominent members of New Square, a reclusive Rockland County village. The village leaders’ aggressive courting of the president and Mrs. Clinton before and after the 2000 Senate election raised questions of whether the men’s sentences were reduced in exchange for votes.

”The investigation was closed because we thoroughly investigated and determined it wasn’t appropriate to bring charges against anybody in the case,” Mr. Comey said at a news conference on an unrelated case. ”I can’t really go into it because it was an investigation that didn’t result in charges. That may be a frustrating answer, but that’s the one I’m compelled to give.”

Comey has repeatedly and improperly protected Clinton and her top people from consequences of criminal behavior
Breitbart reports:
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton discussed FBI Director James Comey’s testimony to Congress with SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Thursday’sBreitbart News Daily.
Hillary Clinton has blamed Comey for her 2016 election loss, but Marlow argued that if Comey had concealed the FBI’s discovery that Clinton was handling classified material irresponsibly – in the most spectacular instance, allowing it to be forwarded to disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner – it would have been “the end of the FBI as we know it.”

“You put your finger on it – the end of the FBI as we know it,” Fitton agreed. “Comey is very interested in protecting his own reputation and why he should have done X or why he should have done Y.”
“In the final analysis, what happened was that Comey has repeatedly and improperly protected Hillary Clinton and her top people from the consequences of their criminal behavior by coloring the law, misstating the law, and focusing on everything but the elephant in the living room: why didn’t he prosecute her? Why didn’t he recommend a prosecution? Why was immunity granted to all of these individuals? Why is it he said that he needed to prove intent, when in fact all they really needed was gross negligence, which was proven beyond the shadow of a reasonable doubt, and he probably had the intent there anyway?” he asked.
“Looking at the testimony generally yesterday, Alex, I just was reassured that Judicial Watch and all the critics of the way the Justice Department and the FBI handled this during the Obama administration are right, that the investigation into Hillary Clinton needs to be opened. He keeps on telling us other reasons why it needs to be opened, by disclosing additional crimes that his FBI has been covering up for eight months now. For instance, Huma Abedin mishandled classified information in sending it along to someone unauthorized to see, review it, or have it – Anthony Weiner, her husband,” said Fitton.
Marlow recalled the “surreal reversal” of Comey’s famous press conference, in which he laid out a compelling case for indicting Clinton – and then said he would not indict her.

  1. Comey was clearly a partisan dirty cop and that will be how history remembers him. Nearly anyone looking at what Hillary did with those emails would have called for her indictment. He chose not to and even went so far as to say no one would looking at the case because he could not find criminal intent. Please. Her own IT administrator was looking up ways to wipe the server clean of all email history and that proves criminality along with he being unwilling to testify.
But just like Benghazi the government has become so corrupted that nothing will ever come of the congressional hearings.

  2. Comey isn’t an operative of the left, he’s an operative of the Clinton/Bush duopoly. Real people on the left (the supporters of Bernie Sanders, Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel) want Hitlery prosecuted just as much as real people on the right (unlike RINOs like McCain and Graham).
