Facebook says Apple iOS privacy change will result in $10 billion revenue hit this year

I honestly love the fact that I can deny access to some of my data thanks to Apple iOS. But: isn‘t it scary that Apple can protect my data just like that with a button when all the world‘s regulation (e.g. GDPR in Europe) could not?
