This could be a revolving-door approach. People serve for a short period of time and do the bidding of corporations. Then they exit and get paid through “consultancy fees” or high paid speaking engagements as the next group comes in.
Meanwhile the faces change so quickly the citizens lose track of who to blame…
This is in essence why many elites want term limits in congress, to create that same kind of revolving door approach at the US house & senate level.
