At least 17 people, including Ukraine's interior minister, have been killed in a helicopter crash outside the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, Ukrainian authorities said Wednesday.

The EC225 was flying at low altitude in very poor visibility due to the fog. At this point in time it seems likely that the crash was the result of an unfortunate accident.
