Military Drones Stolen from US Base, ‘Doomsday Plane’ Spotted Over California After Drone Threat

The US military is cracking down on catching two mysterious thieves who stole four drones from a secret Army base amid fears of an Iranian drone attack on US soil.

Army investigators are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of two masked men who stole the drones from Fort Campbell in November. The drones were stored in a secretive engineer battalion building on the base.

Investigators released images of the two suspects they believed were involved in the theft. They were both wearing head and face coverings, dark sweatshirts and gloves.

They made their escape in two getaway cars – a light colored four-door sedan and a dark colored four-door pickup truck.

The drones were taken between November 21 and 24 from the Army installation situated on the border between Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and Clarksville, Tennessee.

The heightened manhunt for the suspects and the equipment comes amid a raging war with Iran and increasing threats to the US homeland.

It also comes after the FBI alerted local law enforcement officials that there is a potential threat of retaliatory Iranian drone strikes in California.

America’s so-called ‘Doomsday plane’ has been spotted over the West Coast as fears of a potential Iranian attack on California have come to light this week.

The US Navy’s E-6B Mercury strategic airborne command aircraft was captured on camera flying unusually low and repeatedly circling the city of Fresno on March 8.

These giant unmarked planes, constructed using the frames of the Boeing 707, are built to survive a nuclear war and coordinate America’s military response from the air if bases on the ground are attacked.

Officials from Fresno Yosemite International Airport claimed the maneuvers were part of routine training operations for the military command plane, which regularly practices landing procedures without actually touching down.

However, the roughly two-hour readiness flight left onlookers in California concerned, as the Navy’s fleet of E-6Bs has now been seen multiple times since the war in Iran broke out on February 28.

Moreover, the sighting on Sunday came just hours before it was publicly revealed that the FBI had warned local police of a possible Iranian strike on the West Coast using explosive drones.
