Trump: It's a mistake to be against data centers. I don't think they're unsightly. They're the most incredible buildings I've ever seen pic.twitter.com/0DneH2ojk7

Despite Americans’ growing hostility toward AI data centers—especially near their neighborhoods—President Donald Trump has said that “everything’s good around them” and residents stand to benefit from their proximity—including by seeing their home equity climb.
“Any community that turns down AI is making a big mistake, because your taxes are going to go way down; if you own a house, it’s going to be more valuable. It’s a tremendous thing,” the president said during an interview with Fox News’ Night with Trace Gallagher aired on Tuesday.
“It’s almost like there’s a campaign against data centers. But data centers, if you look at the stats, everything’s good around them,” he added. He then said that critics of data centers should look instead at “cities run by Democrats, because that’s the threat to the country, because they are a disaster.”

Elon Musk is about to build something so big it will make the Pentagon look like a strip mall.
Tesla and SpaceX confirmed Thursday that Terafab, their jointly built semiconductor megafactory, will rise in Grimes County, Texas, just outside Houston, with a first phase price tag of $16.8 billion.
The finished complex is slated to top 100 million square feet, a footprint that would blow past every structure ever built and instantly become the largest building in the world.
Musk, who runs both companies, called the facility “the largest and most valuable building on Earth by far.”
