🚨 President Trump just hit Iran with a powerful counter-demand. Iran says wants compensation for the recent conflict. “The president called it an “interesting idea” and said he would start “demanding compensation from Iran, for all of the people that they have killed and gravely wounded with their roadside bombs and many conflicts.”
He said the compensation would cover those killed in the USS Cole attack in October 2000, among others.
Trump also said compensation should be given to the families of the protesters who were killed in Iran “over the last 50 years, not to mention the 52,000 that have been killed in the last five months.”
The president said that, moving forward, the compensation requirement will be added to negotiations.”

Q: When do you think the Strait of Hormuz will be open?
TRUMP: It's open now. It's open now. The only one that has control of the Strait of Hormuz right now is the US Navy. pic.twitter.com/tAhn73AbQw
