Fake FedEx drivers steal $680K electronics load from New Castle, Delaware warehouse

A California man was arrested after being accused of stealing a cargo shipment worth more than half a million dollars from a New Castle warehouse on Monday, according to Delaware State Police.

Officials said 35-year-old Dushatdaman Parihar is facing multiple charges after he and another person are suspected of using fraudulent documents to steal a shipment containing $680,000 worth of electronics.

On Sept. 15, troopers received a 911 call regarding a cargo theft. When they spoke with the caller, they learned that the day before, at approximately 9:15 a.m., two suspects arrived at Emolo Consumer Electronics on River Road in a tractor-trailer cab, identified themselves as FedEx employees and presented driver’s licenses and shipping documents for a trailer containing the cargo shipment.

The caller told troopers the suspects attached the trailer to the cab and left the area.
