SoftBank just discovered how much the market now charges to finance the artificial-intelligence boom. That puts the company on the same road Oracle has already traveled where loans connected to an Oracle-leased data-center project have reportedly been quoted at only 89 to 91 cents on the dollar. And the public-equity market is beginning to push back, too. This is no longer one isolated warning from one corner of the market.
