The federal government’s Privy Council released a forecast report about Canada in 2040.
The report titled “Future Lives: Social mobility in question” paints a dark future for Canada in the year 2040. The report highlights what can be described as a Great Depression coupled with a dystopian nightmare.
They predict the following:
– Canada devolving into a Aristocracy, where the small handful have everything, and the rest have nothing.
– Young people and wealthy people flee to other nations for better life opportunity and quality of living.
– Majority of citizens take part in illegal hunting/fishing and foraging just to survive.
– Food and housing becomes so expensive that only the wealthy can afford it.
– Inheritance will be the ONLY way to get ahead and obtain a better life. No other opportunity for betterment will exist.
– Cities and towns devolve into crime ridden zones, with majority of citizens suffering from mental health issues resulting from poverty, despair and fear.
