(NewsNation) — A donor of President Donald Trump who played a key role in the resignation of U.S. Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle says he’s ready to take down other administration officials if they don’t give into his demands.
Trump donor Eric Deters told The Wall Street Journal he paid Guilfoyle $300,000 for appearance fees and refused to pay another $100,000 to pay off her credit card prior to her Senate confirmation hearing, promising him access and warning him to keep the conversation private.
The Deters situation was just one of several reports detailing embarrassing, or possibly illegal, activity ahead of her confirmation hearing as ambassador to Greece and during tenure, which lasted a little over a year.
‘I am never going to shut up’: Trump donor behind Guilfoyle’s exit
Deters told “Katie Pavlich Tonight” that he’s not stopping at Guilfoyle and even named Vice President JD Vance as another official who ignored his requests to help with the extradition of spine surgeon Dr. Abubakar Atiq Durrani, who fled to Pakistan after facing lawsuits and criminal allegations.
“I am not going to let JD Vance off the hook,” Deters said. “So, if they want to shut up … I sent Susie Wiles and Don Jr. an email today, and I said, ‘Extradition.’ I made this demand: extradition and investigation, or I am going to not only sue Kimberly Guilfoyle, but I am never going to shut up. And you need to understand something.”
