RSF and army drone strikes kill more than 160 in Sudan, including three children in Khartoum

Since Friday drone attacks across Sudan killed more than 160 people. The deadliest hit a transport hub near a market Sunday evening in Al-Dibab, West Kordofan (RSF-held), killing about 80. Another 47 wounded were taken to Al-Mujlad; 30 of them later died. On Monday an RSF drone struck Imtidad Nasir east of Khartoum airport, killing three children ages two to six. Army air defenses intercepted other drones near the airport; falling debris killed one civilian. Both sides have increased drone use since 2023. Emergency Lawyers and the RSF’s Tasis administration blamed the army for the Kordofan strikes; the army blamed the RSF for Khartoum.
