• Russiagate dragged on for years, but no criminal conspiracy between Trump and Russia was proven.
• “Hands up, don’t shoot” spread everywhere, even though the DOJ found the evidence didn’t back up the story.
• Hunter Biden’s laptop was called Russian disinformation right before the 2020 election.
• The COVID lab leak theory was treated like a crazy conspiracy.
• Biden’s team kept saying the border was secure while migrant encounters hit record highs.
• Inflation was supposed to be “transitory.”
• Democrats also backed the Iraq WMD claims.
• The harm caused by school lockdowns was brushed aside for too long.
• The media called the 2020 riots “mostly peaceful” while businesses were burned and billions of dollars in damage was done.
• The Biden administration pushed social media companies to take down or limit certain posts.

Right-wing propaganda

• Claims that the 2016 election was rigged for Hillary Clinton.
• The Obama birth certificate conspiracy.
• Claims that COVID was a hoax.
• January 6 was just a bunch of tourists.
• Claims that the 2020 election was stolen, but no evidence changed the result.
• Climate change is a hoax.
• Conspiracy theories about the attack on Paul Pelosi.
• Claims that Zelensky stole U.S. aid without credible proof.

Look at the pattern. When the other side lies, people get angry. When their own side lies, they find a way to defend it.

That’s how they keep getting away with it. Most people don’t want the truth if it means admitting their own side was wrong.
