Drivers across Omaha, Papillion, and La Vista arrived at retail gas pumps today only to find regular 87 octane unleaded completely sold out, forcing commuters to buy expensive premium fuel or leave empty-handed. Gas station operators across Douglas and Sarpy counties bagged regular fuel nozzles as terminal supply bottlenecks restricted delivery volumes across regional distribution pipelines.
