A young man armed with two knives wounded a police officer outside the Israeli embassy in Belgrade early Wednesday. Serbian police then shot and killed him. Authorities called it a terrorist attack. No injuries to embassy staff were reported. The incident comes days after Israel’s election and amid ongoing tensions over the Iran war.
