Common Defense poll claims half the military wants to quit on tiny left leaning sample

Change Research ran an online survey for the progressive group Common Defense from Sept 15 to 28. Total sample 731. Only about 154 were active duty. Fifty three percent of that small slice said politicization makes them want to leave sooner. Fifty percent of the full sample disapprove of Hegseth. Headlines calling it half the military ignore the tiny active duty number and the group’s politics. Sample skews older white male and Republican. Subgroup error is larger than the stated four points.
