Max Blumenthal and Ali Abunimah allege that the Al Jazeera documentary, in which a journalist infiltrated organizations of the US Israel lobby, is being suppressed. Part of this suppression consists of applying the same methods that were applied to RT, as well as diplomatic moves with the government of Qatar, even though government sources have denied this. They make clear why alternative media was so important in exposing the power of the Israel lobby and advocating for Palestinians.
