They also manipulated the traffic to that post, keeping it from being the top post, and also keeping it off of /r/all.
As of 25 Mar 2019 02:03:33 UTC it was still removed. The post was just under 4 hours old at that point. It was submitted right before peak traffic hours started ramping up, then removed shortly after it was submitted, for a total of about 2.5-3 hours removed. For the entirely of peak reddit traffic hours, that post was gone.
It was tagged “Politics – removed.”
As of 25 Mar 2019 02:23:41 UTC, it was approved, with tag removed. archive.is/ZMSGj
4 hour old post, and they finally decided to approve it as traffic has died way down, and also guaranteeing the post will remain as the 3rd or 4th post on /r/news instead of the top post. It’s still the 3rd post down as of my comment here. How could they wait so long while still maintaining plausible deniability?
Additionally, here is a look at /r/all:
This story is nowhere on top 25 on /r/all, about 4-5 hours after the news hits the front pages of media outlets:
Nowhere on the second page of /r/all:
Nowhere on the 3rd page of /r/all:
Finally, on the 4th page of /r/all at the 83rd post, we find the post on Worldnews, which didn’t censor the post:
All of this means that most redditors who mainly get their information and news from Reddit didn’t hear about the important story on the Mueller investigation on the day the news broke.
