Do you use Google Assistant to find call customer care? If you do then you should stop doing it. Recently, the Better Business Bureau published an article warning everybody after the support number scam.
In the article, they explained how scammers are exploiting the algorithm of – virtual assistant to scam the customers. They even included an individual experience to explain the topic better.
In their example, they told about a lady who called a major airline through her virtual assistant.
She wanted to change her seat in the upcoming flight. But the person on the call was just trying to convince her to buy $400 in prepaid gift cards, saying that the airline is running a special promotion of some kind.
