Chase Sapphire Reserve – Update about Zipcar & Lyft rental Auto Rental CDW

The credit card comes with an Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver benefit, but not all services are covered. Turo, for example, is not covered as it’s technically not a rental service (more like a P2P service). Same with Getaround. A few days ago, I got an email from Lyft and their new rental service (not the same as Lyft ExpressDrive for Lyft drivers). I called Chase Benefit department to verify and even though this is a Rental service (not a P2P) the cars rented through Lyft are NOT covered. Hopefully, this will change but no word on that from the rep.

Zipcar is covered, so you can save money through that service.
