A missed opportunity there. Instead of following up with “he was getting paid $50k a month to sit on the board” he should have just let Taylor flounder like he was doing. In situations like that, Taylor may have really come with something pretty incriminating to their cause, just because he was lost and panicked. Even though the payment follow up was relevant, it gives Taylor a framework around which to base an answer, keeping him from making a real gaffe.
