A COUPLE rammed two teenage boys from their bikes and threatened them with violence because they were Donald Trump supporters, police say.
The duo, from Indiana, allegedly forced the 14-year-old twins off their bikes after noticing one had a flag supporting the US President.
Gregory Perry-Jones, 23, and Cailyn Marie Smith, 18, asked the boys if they were Trump supporters, before swerving towards them and allegedly forcing them off the road.
Perry-Jones then ripped a flag from one of the boys’ bikes, before getting back in his car and running it over.
On Thursday, the couple were charged with intimidation, criminal recklessness, theft and criminal mischief.
A video of the July 22 incident, filmed by the couple and posted to Snapchat, shows “the driver turns the wheel sharply as if he saw the boys and wanted to hit them with the vehicle while yelling ‘ya’ll better get home’”, according to a police statement seen by Associated Press.
