The scandalous collapse of a bridge over a river located on the border between the Liguria and Tuscany regions, in the north-west of the country, left for a moment today the health and economic emergency exploded in Italy by the new coronavirus.
According to press sources, the collapse took place this morning at 10.22 (local time), when the inhabitants of the area heard a noise that sounded the alarm. At that time, two vehicles were circulating on the bridge – two vans, one from a telephone company and the other from private mail – that, beyond the collapse of the structure, managed to stay on the destroyed road.
