Most of the world relies now on Amazon Web Services, including various alphabet agencies like the CIA.
A few months ago there was a huge problem with the security certificates for a lot of websites not getting updated. So you couldn’t access the DNS, effectively blocking the websites.
I miss the time when websites were hosted by the actual company and not outsourced to Amazon, like our entire economy.
