Conservatives, usually faithists (Christians), pretend that the self is bad. They can’t get around this false belief. Liberals, on the other hand, are range-of-the-moment thinkers and that is liberals’ downfall. As an Objectivist, I reject both sides of this same mind-body dichotomy.
