White House press secretary Jen Psaki said President Joe Biden would consider rebranding his signature Build Back Better legislation to help kick start negotiations on his stalled socail safety net bill.
‘Sure,’ she said in her press briefing on Wednesday when asked if the administration would consider a name change.
Democratic Senator Joe Manchin said last week the current version of Build Back Better was ‘dead,’ but noted he was open to a new round of talks with the White House.
‘What Build Back Better bill?’ Manchin told reporters on Capitol Hill when asked about the legislation. ‘It’s dead.’
