Campus Reform went to the theater where the Democratic debate took place and asked a bunch of Democrats what they would consider Joe Biden’s major accomplishments. “I don’t know of a specific accomplishment of his,” one woman respondent tells Cabot Phillips early on, and it doesn’t get much better from there.
…And? This is the postmodern 21st century. A lack of accomplishments didn’t stop Biden’s boss from becoming president. Though unlike Barry and/or his ghostwriter, Biden’s been around the block far too many times to make that work for him by saying, “I am new enough on the national political scene that I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views.”
