CNN Technical Director Discusses How CNN They Hyped the COVID 19 Death Tolls to Improve Ratings. Because Fear Drives Numbers.

Disclose.tv tweeted a short clip featuring CNN Tech Director Charlie Chester discussing how CNN added a side bar with COVID 19 Death rolls to drive ratings. Focusing on fear improved ratings. Chester claims CNN staff wanted high death tolls because it “would make their points better.”

In a longer video, Chester provides more details and expresses concern for how CNN covered COVId-19 (ie, wanting death tolls to go up).

I definitely agree with Chester’s view that there isn’t unbiased news. He equates CNN with Fox in terms of bias.
